Mobile helper winches are used to pull out of balance counterweight arbors down for loading. Fully self contained, the Mobile Helper Winch has an integral motor, brake, drum, starter, and Up/Down push button controls. The base has fixed and swivel casters for easy positioning, and a lip to engage a reaction bar in the locking rail or floor. Helper Winch standard capacity 1000 pounds. Capacity can be custom designed to customers specific requirements. Supporting base and framing for the winch are of steel construction, designed to absorb the imposed static and dynamic loads, plus a liberal factor for safety.

Winch incorporates one (1) brake. The brake shall be a spring applied electrically released unit operating on the motor shaft and of sufficient torque to stop and hold static the design load of the winch.
